Pleasant Prairie, Wis. — A Chicago man is facing multiple criminal charges after police say he broke into a Pleasant Prairie apartment complex clubhouse, stole a coin machine, and tried to hide evidence during his arrest.
Kamar K. Hall, 29, was formally charged on April 28, 2025, in Kenosha County Circuit Court with four counts: burglary of a building or dwelling, criminal damage to property, obstructing an officer, and possession of THC. Court Commissioner William Michel II set Hall’s cash bail at $15,000. He remains in custody and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on May 2.
The charges stem from an early morning break-in reported on April 21 at The Vista at Creekside Crossing, located at 6941 91st Street. A maintenance worker discovered extensive damage to doors and drywall, and found a coin-operated laundry machine missing. Surveillance footage reviewed by police showed a masked man forcing his way into the building and removing the machine using a crowbar.
Investigators later used vehicle surveillance systems, including Flock license plate readers, to identify a 2017 gray Nissan Versa connected to the crime. The vehicle was registered to Hall, whose appearance and glasses—taped in a distinctive pattern—matched the suspect captured on video. Pleasant Prairie police stopped the car early on April 26 and took Hall into custody.
According to the complaint, officers found a crowbar covered in white powder residue on Hall’s driver’s seat, as well as used blue latex gloves, a ski mask, and a hammer inside the vehicle. During transport to the jail, Hall was allegedly seen moving suspiciously. Police say he later attempted to hide a plastic bag containing 25.1 grams of marijuana in the squad car’s door pocket.
While speaking with detectives, Hall denied involvement in the burglary, claimed memory lapses due to drug use, and suggested someone else had borrowed his vehicle. However, police allege he offered no credible explanation for the physical evidence tying him to the crime scene.
If convicted on all charges, Hall faces a maximum sentence of over 13 years behind bars, including up to 12 years and six months for the burglary count alone.

Instead of 13 years in jail some liberal judge is going to throw some bad looks at him and give him useless probation. Rinse repeat.
