  1. asher’s brother here, thanks for leaving out the fact that he was IN PSYCHOSIS when this happened. only telling people he was in a mental hospital before trial isn’t enough and the headline of this article makes him look like a killer due to the lack of context. literally the ONLY reason this happened was because he was in psychosis and you failed to mention it. i know it’s probably not intentional but you’re making my brother look worse than he is and it’s crazy that i have to tell you this.

    1. I feel sorry for your brother and his mental illness. The fact remains that he is dangerous and belongs in a cage for the rest of his life, so he doesn’t kill somebody like he almost killed you.

      2. are you ignorant or did you not even read what i said? when did i tell you he shouldn’t be locked up? i’m saying you failed to mention he was IN PSYCHOSIS which is key info. i agree he should be locked up but not mentioning the biggest piece of info is what i don’t agree with. you made him look like a horrible human being when he’s not, he just has mental illness. mention that next time.

    2. Perhaps knowing his issues in the past, his family should have taken precautions such as mental health treatment and proper meds… rather than hopes and wishes that he wouldn’t act out again.

A mental health issue isn’t a reason for something to get a free pass. If he cannot control himself, then someone needs to take control of him. You don’t wait until after something happens, then make excuses.
